After rewatching all the controversial plays I'd have given a pen to Rayo on the Fort/Mumin play. I understand now why Rayo's offside was given. They still need to score the pen though and resist 30 more minutes of Barcelona all out attacks for the 2 point thing to happen.

I'll take the help though, only to see Roncero foaming at the mouth, it's worth it.

It was a hard watch to be fair, I thought only Szczesny, Martinez and Pedri, maybe Balde, played at the level I expect from Barcelona players...

Are you really defending that ref? He should absolutely be suspended a long time. But, hey, as long as he is a good employee to you, I guess you do not care.

I get this is a new shtick but how in the world is it ok to suspend a ref for a red card after the player cusses him out?

Man apply the rules fairly Xavi got red carded repeatedly for yelling at refs.

But all the other bad calls? No.

My problem is what the volume of his incomptence not with any call in particular and now, a potential conflict of interest has been found. The guy should be removed until all investigations are done.

The investigation is about his company's ties to Atleti, mostly.

His performance review has already happened (the red card is one of many controversial calls - 3 missed penalties, a half-dozen of cynical fouls not called, including an elbow to Mbappé's chest). If it is determined he needs to sit out a few games, so be it, it was a terrible performance. I'll give him that Vini flops so much that it is hard to give HIM the benefit of the doubt when he is contacted in the box.

The way Jude said he said "f*** off" is akin to saying "are you f***ing kidding me". If that deserve a straight red, there would be a lot of games finishing 8 on 8 That being said, Jude as a history of complaining and we cannot ask a native Spanish speaker to understand the nuances of the English language. Jude should have been more careful. But, again, that's one of a dozen of bad calls during the game. Guy definitely deserves to sit out a week or two.

I do not think there is a conspiracy against us, that'd be dumb. I do believe La Liga has terrible reffing though.
