Especially since he is right about the racism problem.

He acts like a clown, but he has that right.
Yes and no.
There is a racism problem, no doubt but there's a reason why it's mainly him that's being targeted rather than the 5 or 6 other black players in Real.
That's certainly not an excuse. He should be taunted on different things.
But his behavior is atrocious. I still can't go over his Kimmich act.

What that keeper did with that pathetic sell job was a million times more vile and disgusting.

That is just nonsense
Especially since he is right about the racism problem.

He acts like a clown, but he has that right.

He has no right to act like a clown … most entitled player on the most entitled team. Recipe for disaster. He’s akin to a rich kid with neglectful parents who’s never told him no. They deserve each other.

No one said otherwise but Vini is an absolute idiot and a terrible professional.

FWIW apparently that wasn’t the case yesterday

I am not going to argue that Vini does not need to grow up in a big way. Heck, I'd take the billion from Saudi if he does not mature quickly. This last incident should be the last warning.

That being said, even on this very thread, someone called him Nelson Mandela (which, to your credit yoh called out). Too often, the go-to to insult him is racial abuse. That says a lot about the people using that kinda of stuff to attack a player.

Vini needs to learn to deal with this shit properly, but he is 100% about it about wrong. Perhaps the only thing he is right about.

I can't take seriously a guy that projects as someone really fighting racism when all he does on the pitch is the contrary of an example for other humans.

Been told by people inside the club that he is a really good kid, but I'm fed up with him

And yet, you called him Nelson Mandela, therefore belittling the abuse he faces.

Him being an immature punk does not justify people using his race to attack him.

He needs to mature in a big way. That's a given. But nothing, NOTHING, justifies the racism. It is too prevalent in football. Vini is far from the only player being called a monkey or any other stupid racist shit. His fight is legit, he might not be the most credible advocate, but he is right.

Guys PR is Ronaldo level

Sevilla is down 3-1 to Almeria. These guys aren’t far off Valencia.

I can’t remember when either had a good year in the league.

That stunt he pulled at the Euros and little coming of it sums it up nicely. PR indeed. And I doubt you listen to TalkSport in the UK like I do. They think he’s Lionel.

Both clubs are woefully mismanaged, but in different ways. Like I said at the beginning of the season, Valencia are relegation candidates Looked better yesterday, but big difference between looking good for 30 minutes and looking good for 90 minutes. And while Gasiorowski did well (wasn’t dribbled once, plenty of clearances, etc) and while he can play on the left, better having him at CB with Mosquera. Tarrega seems more bluster than substance to me.

Torre Man of the Match for me. Good to see him take profit of his minutes. Always curious how he’d do if he had more minutes.

Valencia should have been relegated years ago. The Peter Lim ownership has been a complete disaster.

Yeah, there’s very little investment into the side and while they have some good canteranos they don’t have enough of them.

He just gives me Puig vibes tbh. Water bug talent. I hope he pulls it together but I’m thinking he doesn’t.

Individually they have good enough players to be mid table. All three of Gasio, Mosquera and Tarrega are quite good. Their problem is the team just didn't gel for whatever reason. We will see this second half if they can overcome Espanyol and Alaves who are the other clear candidates to be relegated (I think Leganes and Getafe should survive)

I agree that the sum of their parts are better than they’re showing and they’ve haven’t gelled, if they’re mid-table they’re on the lower end of it. Squad still needs improving and particularly depth. They’re good enough to avoid relegation, but probably just if they do.

I think Gasiorowski and Mosquera have notably more potential than Tarrega.
