Anyway, philly with a nice streak (7) blowing by us finally, the Red Wings and Black Hawks getting little winning streaks together drawing them closer.

Still somehow expecting the Devils, Anaheim and Panthers to surpass us. I mean, what the hell is going on in Anaheim? Wow!

Oh and btw, subtract the difference in loser points and the Kings are really only 2 less wins, and 2 more losses than we have.
Difference tonight just may be MADISON SQUARE GARDEN. Our boys seem to like playing at home this year.

Are the Kings starting their back up goaltender? ;)

I don't know about the Devils. They have the one roster I look at and cringe more than I cringe at ours.

They need Zajac back desperately. No superstar, but one of their leaders. They cant instantaneously suck just because they lost Lou Lamoriello, right?

the thing I see and the reason I want Quinn to act quickly is the sooner we move at LEAST hayes zucc mcquaid (the obvious ones) the faster we can get to what we'll be the rest of the year which isn't a good team.

Chicago will get Crawford back soon don't have mnay good pieces to move out. they'll get better
Detroit also not a lot to move out they should be better than us when we clear our trade pieces
Panthers should already be better but I suspect they'll improve.
Philly is better don't have much to move other than Simmonds.
Anaheim is getting perry back and some kind of coaching move has to be made soon.
Edmonton is going to do something to get better.
devils will get zajac and hall back you'd THINK that would make them better than us after our fire sale.

I think Ottawa and LA are probably the only two we're really going to be better than after our deals are made.

Beat the Kings. Simple as that.
On board with this. Will root for wins until 59:59 of game 82 and let the chips fall how they may. Just can't root for loses while watching my team's colors and I'm still dreaming of a Cinderella run even after we trade Zucc etc. #upintheclouds

Can we do 9 and 9 and experiment with two lines of 3 D and 2 F and two of 3 F and 2 D? The neutral zone defensive systems already kind of head that direction, might as well take it to the max. 1-0 S/O wins all the way to the cup baby

USSR used to work in 5 man groupings... Lets try that

What Quinn should actually do is go 10F/8D, and roll the top 9 as three lines keeping, say Nieves for the PK, and have four D pairings so the defensive suckage exposure is reduced.

We roll 11F/6D with McLeod in the lineup, so what's the difference between that and 11F/7D?

I've decided I like it.

**** 7/11 and **** DeAngelo sitting on the bench instead of in the press box, but McLeod coming out is just too good.
I see your logic, though. It’s kind of like deciding between dying quickly, or getting tortured and dying a slow death. Both options suck, but there’s an obvious winner.
