Not a Kings fan, but from what I know Kings want a RHS gamebreaking winger.
That's what they need. This group can't use talent like this & will just play them in the bottom 6. A good checker with speed would be a better fit for this coach & front office.

Hoven's hit rate come trade rumors and similar makes Eklund look like McKenzie. When it comes to injuries and stuff like that come LA he is great. Anything else...
Hoven works with the Kings organization, it shows you're not very informative of his contacts the last few years.

Beyond informed. Been a daily regular on the Kings board for 20+ years now. Seen nearly every single game in 25 years. John Hoven is a egotistical joke saying it politely come trade rumours. Has his few zealots and the rest of King's fan know he is an Eklund level individual when it comes to topics like this.

Clarke re-entered the lineup last night and LA scored as many goals as they did in the previous 4 games combined. Coincidence? OK, so he had no points and was largely responsible for one goal against, but he was making plays that were leading to chances and building momentum. I just went back and looked at the game against Detroit that prompted the coach to scratch him and both goals against while he was on the ice were his partner Moverare's fault, but of course Clarke took the blame and Moverare stayed in the lineup.

I think that This is the worst place in the entire League for him to develop. He is a gem and they are killing his offensive instincts. They want to make a Joel Edmunston out of him. Sad to see, I’m not even watching anymore

Yes, it is exactly that. A coincidence. One 2nd or 3rd pairing defenceman with 13 minutes of ice time is going to have that large an impact on offense.
