Because Doughty is back off LTIR and Clarke might need a couple of games to rest and reset. So, why is Clarke a healthy scratch ?

This looks like the stupidest thing I've ever read.
...already a thread about this...
2 turntables and a microphone , a 1985 El Camino , and the first born male child in every household. What would Kings want?
Exactly. Spence or Moverare are the most likely candidates for thatYou could easily read this as the Kings are looking to move a defenceman to create playing time for Clarke. To me, that makes a whole lot more sense than them shopping Clarke.
Just let Gavrikov walk in the off-season.Exactly. Spence or Moverare are the most likely candidates for that
Dylan Guenther since Blake had a chance to draft him and took Clarke instead quite the move by Numbnuts...when there's a scorer or D-man and the Dman isn't Makar or QHughes type take the scorerWhat would Kings want?
BurroughsLike I know Blake and co are stupid but they are not THIS stupid. There’s no backup plan after Doughty.
RHD are like impossible to find, which is why teams like the Leafs give a 35 year old Tanev six years and full NMC, and just shrug their shoulders about any future consequences as a later problem. How many 21 and Under RHD are as good or better than Clarke right now and going forward? Not many.. I would always bet on finding a "Matthew Knies" laying around than a Brandt Clarke.
A new GM.What would Kings want?
And a ridiculous stretch in the title as well. But since 99% of folks only see the title you can assume that we will be hearing about the time the Kings wanted to trade Clarke back in 2025 for years to comeOP complains about stupidity while creating a duplicate thread
Right the Kings gave a first rounder and 3rd rounder I believe to get Gavrikov for 2 1/4 seasons seems like the Kings of the 70's who were forever mortgaging the Future for the now except that Strategy always backfiresJust let Gavrikov walk in the off-season.
When Doughty retires its going to be Spence and Clarke getting the vast majority of the minutes on the RD...seems like smoke and mirrors hereYou could easily read this as the Kings are looking to move a defenceman to create playing time for Clarke. To me, that makes a whole lot more sense than them shopping Clarke.
At 11 Million per for another 2 years after this one...who going to take him TO?Would be smarter to keep Clarke and trade Doughty
