Weekes: LA Kings Brandt Clarke on the move?

This looks like the stupidest thing I've ever read.

You could easily read this as the Kings are looking to move a defenceman to create playing time for Clarke. To me, that makes a whole lot more sense than them shopping Clarke.

RHD are like impossible to find, which is why teams like the Leafs give a 35 year old Tanev six years and full NMC, and just shrug their shoulders about any future consequences as a later problem. How many 21 and Under RHD are as good or better than Clarke right now and going forward? Not many.. I would always bet on finding a "Matthew Knies" laying around than a Brandt Clarke.

lol. Yes there are so many big bodied first line talent power forwards in the league. Outside of #1D and C, those are the most sought after pieces in the league. Saying how many under 21 is such a strawman question because we don't know who will be the best 5 years from now.

I think people just don't know who Knies is or something.

OP complains about stupidity while creating a duplicate thread :sarcasm:
And a ridiculous stretch in the title as well. But since 99% of folks only see the title you can assume that we will be hearing about the time the Kings wanted to trade Clarke back in 2025 for years to come

When Doughty retires its going to be Spence and Clarke getting the vast majority of the minutes on the RD...seems like smoke and mirrors here

Would be smarter to keep Clarke and trade Doughty
At 11 Million per for another 2 years after this one...who going to take him TO?
