Weekes: LA Kings Brandt Clarke on the move?

Him and Chris Johnston are the gold standard for me.

Then Lebrun, Dreger, and Pognotta who seem well connected but never have as many scoops (but can get details once they know to ask)

Weekes IDK. Well connected but hard to tell with him what he means sometimes which is frustrating.

I think he just throws a bunch of shit out there hoping something happens with one of them. Like just tweet the skyline of a city you heard might be doing something and hope its big.

People get themselves so worked up over this shit. He says "perhaps" they are doing this thing. Not "I'm hearing,"

If you are upset you are getting tricked or click baited, that is your own fault. When you convince yourself that someone is this all knowing person and get upset when they don't in fact know something, that is on you. He's a hockey dude talking hockey until he hears something. I can't imagine people expect "insiders" to sit there and shut up for 99% of the year until they "hear" something.

Learn to read what is said and you will be less inclined to feel tricked or duped or heaven forbid, bamboozled.

...no, but Hughes would definitely make LA an offer if Clarke was available...what would LA want from the Habs??...
I don't think the fanbase is ready to pay the price LA would ask for Clarke.

A man can certainly dream, though, especially after Guhle's injury yesterday. He's gonna be sidelined for a long time.

Okay Karlsson for Clarke done deal let's phone it in :sarcasm:

I actually suggested this weeks ago once the Kings started making wry comments about Clarke in the media after the beginning of the season when he was PPG

They've done that to every kid basically months before they were moved/waived...Faber, Vilardi, Kaliyev, now Clarke.

They've got nothing left in the cupboard to move...we expect Clarke, Greentree, two firsts to be gone and this is Blake's swan song, just sending us to the lottery for the next half decade to lose to the Oilers for the 4th time.

Edit: yeah that actually seems right up blake's alley...clarke greentree and two firsts for karlsson and rakell.

Freaking non-story IMO. Gavrikov has been awesome in the right side, Doughty is back and Spence is playing great. Somebody is going to sit or rotate in and out a bit and Clarke still has a few things he can polish up despite the points. Maybe Gavrikov moves back to the left side (and is also a pending UFA) so not sure why all of a sudden Clarke would be “available”.

Completely absurd!

Blake has been so bad people are questioning if he'd do it. Based on return may not even be Blake's worst move if it happened.

...it never hurts to ask...and with a rich prospect pool, the Habs could afford him without "breaking the bank", imo...the question is what Blake would ask for...

JT Miller come on down! @Coffee get ready!
Good prospect makes no sense with Quinn, Hronek and soon Willander. I get Willander likely plays the 3rd pairing but we need a. LHD way more a doubt JT or EP get moved but a Centre would have to come back .

Only C we have with 2c potential is Raty but he's not ready and ideally he's a 3c with pp time and gets 50-60 points.
