Honestly the kings are just head and shoulders better. They did not give the rangers an inch in the offensive zone. A completely dominant defensive performance.

Man, did Slats get hosed in the Gaborik trade. Brassard, Moore, and Dorsett are garbage.

The only qualm I had with that trade was why not David Savard instead of John Moore?
We already had enough LHD's (Eventhough Staal was still injured)
Savard is a RHD, plays physical, can shoot the puck, would have been perfect on the second pair.

Hey, we could have scored on the 6th PP!

Damn refs!

Yeah ha, they should have called one or two more penalties during that 15 minute man advantage we had. Not to mention a couple of those were wonky calls, especially the Miller call.

The disallowed goal was kicked in. It sucks. But it's the right call.

That game was pretty even. Don't think the Rangers got outplayed in anyway. They just didn't make the most of the chances they got. Really, neither did the Kings though. One of those games. Thought both teams played well.

I won't argue that the Kings are better, but where were all of the "head and shoulders" better people when we dominated them in LA?

I don't think LA is "head an shoulders" a better team. The Rangers had plenty of nice chances, they just didnt go toinght thats all.

Honestly since the turnaround, there hasnt really been a match that the Rangers couldnt have won. Correct me if im mistaken, but all our losses after that has come partially as the result of at least one goal that could be at best labeled as personell mistakes

The Miller call was absolutely correct (I'm assuming you mean the Mitchell penalty). You're entitled to skate in the lane you're in. You're not allowed to actively move into another player's lane, which is what Mitchell did. Honestly, they don't call that one enough.

Seriously, can you remind me of these nice chances? We had one good PP. And two nice rushes on which we didn't shoot. We were horrible today. However we looked better today than LA did when the season started against us. And the Kings looked worse than we did then. So there's that to hang your hat on.

Guys it was clearly kicked in enough

Dom Moore is a jackass for celebrating so hard when he knows it

How u could pick one ba player tonight when basically everyone was horrific is beyond me. Just a terrible game by us

seriously though...

"Call on the ice is confirmed, no goal"...

Yet the ref is signaling a goal on the ice... WTF

The first period there were very nice stretches of sustained pressure and a couple nice scoring chances for stepans line. The odd man rushes, agreed, I don't know how you dont get a ****ing shot. Especially Zucc, that was maddening. It was a tightly contested game and I definitely didn't think the rangers looked "horrible", Horrible is the game in the beginning of the season against SJ or ANA. LA is a tough team to play against that is for sure.

I think I contracted a disease watching Zucc pass on that shorthanded odd man rush

I don't think brain cells can be destroyed visually, but if they could, it would be the ****ing Rangers to prove it. Once again this team's collective stupidity, lack of finishers, blows a winnable game.

I know that one game shouldn't take away from 10 really solid games, but I was so high on this damn team for how well they've been playing. Outside of some really good defense in the first period and Lundqvist being lights out, NONE of that was there. I don't know if I'd say we got dominated, but if we didn't it was awfully close. Just did nothing well. Is this what will happen when we play a big defensive team like the Kings? What happened to the skill I saw this team have? Nothing was there. Looked like a Torts game. So disappointing.

In case you missed it from the Devils game, he brought up our record when we allowed the first goal. When I and other fans told him that it didn't matter because we responded 18 seconds later his brilliant argument was "did we give up the first goal? Did we win?" In other words the Rangers lost that game after allowing the first goal because they were 1-8 when allowing the first goal. Brilliant analysis. His ability to read the stat sheet (1-8 aaaaahhhh) was the reason he's 100% right as he told us. He also told us that he'll be reminding us and here he is. I've never seen such an amazing combination of ignorance and arrogance. To quote Metallica's Holier Than Thou "arrogance and ignorance go hand in hand".

lol oh I was there I knew full well what he was referencing. it was a lazy argument then and it's lazy now so I challenged him to explain its relevance in this particular game using the atrocious PP as an example of something that had nothing to do with giving up the first goal

Look at that, I guess it was interference on Moore, I thought they called him for tripping Miller. Either way, the point I was making was that there were way too many PP chances in that time frame alone to be *****ing about the refs.
