Well Chicago just lost some of that AWESOME bottom six everyone is harping on this board.

They lost a big time playoff performer in Bolland(and leader) , and speed plus scoring in frolik.

Told you guys they wouldn't be the same team, no one is.

The Kings were not the same team ether.

It's such a damned if you do, damed if you don't situation with Scuds right now.

Don't sign him, run the risk of Mitchell not playing and icing a shaky defense.

Sign him, run the risk of Mitchell playing and running into cap issues, thus necessitating a weak, inexperienced forward corps and potentially needing to shed salary.

Honestly, Deano should look at the possibility of resigning scuds, if it's really that out of the picture he should just trade his rights to a new team and try to get something out of it.

I like scuds, but how much progress is made? If its too little, just trade his right.

I honestly don't think either is a big loss for that team. Bolland is not what he once was and Frolik is meh.
