If the Kings PP becomes less grind of the puck around the boards, more quick tape to tape passing, less predictable get the puck back to the point and hope for a tip/rebound, then we know Hiller has made a big coaching impact. I would like to see the umbrella formation, where shots can come from the point(left, middle, right, and sprinkled w/ a one-timer), Bumper position, and left/right shots just inside the circles. Back door play as well, but do the Kings have the right forward who can make the soft/quick/accurate passes? The PP skill should be there, but is the right coaching direction there w/ Hiller? If we see different personnel out there, then we know it's truly Hiller's powerplay. If we see the same ol' 5 out there, minus Dustin Brown, then TMc is influencing it. Brown had 3 PP points last season and played 2:05 minutes per game on it. Iafallo was just a little better with 40 seconds more TOI per game. IA should not be on the powerplay. He's not a shooter or a passer and that's what you need on the unit.
