Post-Game Talk: LA drowning in Oil tonight

I will admit- I was one of them. I just didn’t think a 34 year old with the game he plays and the injury he had would have an impact. Dude is just built differently. I was wrong and will happily admit it
I love Kane and what he brings as the alpha in the lineup that changes a lot of dynamics. Seems like with Perry his skill, doesn't matter if he hasn't ridden a bike for years he always remembers how. Not just his game but positioning, 200ft play, he's not been a liability anywhere and he's just making life hell for Kings defenders. Then he nails people like Kempe, like really got him.

Idk what Brandt Clarke was thinking trying to cheap shot him like that in the 3rd. Dude he's going to fold you in half in game 6.

Waiting to hear from all the posters who wanted to trade Kane all year, said he was done and wouldn’t bring anything in the playoffs. Such a key glue guy on this team, incredible how he’s playing after missing an entire year.
I was one. I admitted I was wrong. Dude is literally defying what happens with 34 year players with heavy miles on their bodies and a major injury. I’m more than happy to be wrong

The harmonicas didn't work tonight.

Maybe the spirit of Kate Smith is out there, somewhere, if there is a game 7.
This is funny, and in realtime in game one I was thinking this sure ain't any Kate Smith thing...

Man, even at 1-1 they had to exort the Kings crowd to make some noise. of course their club wasn't giving them much reason to in this game. The Oilers play took the Kings crowd, and the Kings, right out of the game.

Isn't this the whole story? This is whats been stated here for years. Nice to hear the players actually saying it so much this season.

When McD went up to Pickard at end of game 2 waiting for him on bench I knew that was the message and that the team would lobby for pickard, which I'm sure they did.
Eventually, even incompetence has to wake up to popular opinion.

Kuemper prevented this from being a 6-1 or 7-1 game. 46-22 shots. 28-6 high danger chances, 6.35-1.53 expected goals. And all of this with McDrai having a below average game by their standards. What an absolute thrashing.

Finish them off on Thursday.
He looked absolutely exhausted too. He was breathing pretty heavy in the 3rd. The barrage from the last game to this game has to have an impact
