One thing about Pickard too. On top of being a better goalie, the guy is simply luckier than the other guy. I guarantee that puck squeaks into the net on the breakaway instead of inches wide. Fiala probably scores in the third period last game too instead of hitting the post.

These are the best kind of wins. A real TEAM effort, zero points for the Big 2 even though they played a great overall game and they still win on the road in a pivotal Game 5. These are the type of wins, combined with merely solid goaltending, that can carry them far and hopefully to the point where the Oilers get Viking back. That's looking ahead though, need to finish these guys in Game 6 first. They won't go down without a fight.

Kane seems like he is the heart of the team. We play with a lot more swagger and confidence with him on the ice. It’s great to see him back and feeling good after a long recovery.

Klingberg with another very good game as well, hasn't he been a revelation. Even when the Oilers struggled earlier in the series Klingberg was playing well. He has a great Hockey IQ even though the legs fail him at times, the opposite of Nurse in that sense.
