I know it won't happen but I would like to see the Islander sell off Nelson and Palmieri and whatever they get back they can use to trade for a Younger mid 20ish (lower end) 2nd line Center

In the case of Palmieri my guess is giving Islanders recent streak they will not be seller but if they were I am guessing 2nd + 3rd/4th and a prospect with a possibility of a 1st + prospect if there isn't many seller come the deadline

Lol was literally typing up this thread. Would love him in Edmonton on Draisaitl's line so the Oilers can roll three scoring units come the ploffs. Guessing Isles fans want a 1st but I'd only want to move our '26 1st in a bigger deal that includes a D. 2nd + prospect is where I'd like to see the price come in if just for Palms.

If the infinitely stubborn shave-insister would actually trade a pending UFA when it would, you know, actually benefit the franchise he collects his paycheck from, then I'd be fine with a 2026 2nd.

Alas he won't, so I'm left in my frustration with only the ability to point out what an annoyingly overrated GM he actually is.

We were used to it in Jersey. Let them all walk. It put us back for years tbh
