Never really had any significant injury issues.

IMO he was never a guy who was interested in putting in the extra work in terms of strength and conditioning, and it seemed like he hit a wall hard a few years ago once he got into his late 20’s and could no longer rely on natural athleticism. The off ice/lifestyle issues probably hastened the end of what was likely to be a short career regardless.
