No I just think the conversation is a bit too early after 1 game.So you want to re-sign him for multiple years? Like some people were saying?

well see how the rest of this game plays out.I mean I don’t think they could play a worse period ever again so there’s that lol
That was the 1 game Bob solely cost them lol, telling yall it happens once a roundGame 5 vs. Edmonton was pretty bad, right @ucanthanzalthetruth

Not sure I would resign him but if he's willing to play at a discount it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. He could still be a good backup and possibly mentor for a younger goalie (assuming we get one)

Good period for Toronto.
But the good news is that their lead is more about us beating ourselves than them being that good.
Now the question is: do they want it enough to bounce back? It’s been my concern before this series. After back to back finals and a cup, I don’t think that it’s humanly possible for them to want it as much as Toronto does right now. And that’s why, I think, we’ll lose this series.
Oh yeah I agree, I don't think he'll be elite at that age. He wasn't even this year tbh.I would definitely 'resign' him.![]()
As for re-signing, I'm not against it if the cap makes sense. I was more poking fun at some people saying he could easily be a top tier goaltender in his mid 40s, which I thought was ludicrous at the time.
Trade BarkovSo what’s the moves
Do we let Bennett walk? Who replaces Schmidt? Ekblad? Let Boqvist and Balinskis go
