It was actually the purest natural hat trick - all 3 in one period uninterrupted by any other goals. I myself consider a natural hatty one that's uninterrupted over multiple periods, but some stick to the one period time-frame.

Kucherov making plays all night, gets points on all 4 goals of his team (a slick PP setup, slap shot from the blue line, ENG from his own blue line and, OK, a fairly easy 2nd ENG): hahaha this is why he only ended up 2nd in the last year's Hart voting: he only scores easy points! Overrated! Hate him!
