At what point are you prepared to say it’s a trend? That’s a pretty good sample sizeI think that is just a stat anomaly and this is coming from a guy who doesn't like him

Oh man, you are so upset that Kucherov is so good. I know it hurts, but just be glad you were alive to witness such a talent. You should be thankful.Yep. Not one but the last two playoffs in fact! Can you believe that? Maybe ’’if he was Canadian’’ he would have scored more, that is how it works amirite?![]()
Agreed - but I’m not talking about 4 years ago.Cannot disagree. Before last 3 seasons on the other hand...
No doubt the panthers are a problem. But superstars find a way to contribute but Kuch has struggled lately. I don’t see why it’s so controversial to point that out.To be fair, the Panthers force him into situations he's not good in, so the last 2 years aren't really a slight on Kuch
So Point, Guentzel, Cirreli, Hagel are irrelevant? As to the other poster mentioned. If a team can just focus all their attention on Kuch, then the offense dries up. He's THAT important.
If you watched the games this year and last, you'd see the Cats commit to not giving him any space, stripping the puck in transition and, for the most part, forcing him to feed defensemen who aren't scorers in the zone. Yeah, he's had a rough run of it, I'm just giving some details as to why.No doubt the panthers are a problem. But superstars find a way to contribute but Kuch has struggled lately. I never said that. I said Kuch drives the offense. If you can shut him down it's hard for Tampa to score. Seems pretty obvious. So Point, Guentzel, Cirreli, Hagel are irrelevant?
If only the opposition focused on McDavid//Drai/ and MacKinnon I guess…If you watched the games this year and last, you'd see the Cats commit to not giving him any space, stripping the puck in transition and, for the most part, forcing him to feed defensemen who aren't scorers in the zone. For reference, Mcdavid did well in a losing effort with 11 dog in points, but Drai had 0 points in 7 games. Do what you want with that. They haven't played Mack in the playoffsIf only the opposition focused on McDavid//Drai/ and MacKinnon I guess…
I didn't get COVID until 2024, so it counts.pretty shocking numbers. Kuch does have one really good postseason though (2020 was covid, doesn't count)
0 goals and 3 assists in the finals while battling a serious injury but my point still stands. Again Kuch has had several great performances in the post season and two cups. But last few seasons have been below expectation which Tampa fans seem to be unwilling to even acknowledge…For reference, Mcdavid did well in a losing effort with 11 dog in points, but Drai had 0 points in 7 games. Are you saying the team around Kuch is worse than the team around McDavid? I don’t recall having Vasilevski or Hedman on the oil?Uh, absolutely he's on the same level.
Where have you been?
Where is McDavid's Stanley Cup? Right, the team around him matters?

Ahh ok so Drai> Vasy, Hedman, Stamkos, Point.. got itIt's nice to hear an Oiler fan think so less of Draisaitl.
You've convinced me!
Hint: He's the guy you already said is better than Kucherov in the 1st post you wrote in this thread.
Remind me who has two Cups and who has none.As the title says Kucherov has 1 goal in the 15 games he’s played in the last three post season. No doubt he’s an elite player but is he on the same level as Connor/Leon/Nate as suggested by his regular season production considering those three have been way more productive in the post season?

I'm not a Tampa fan. But Kuch had 4 assists in 5 games this year, and 7 assists in 5 games last year. He was also 1 and 5 against Toronto. So that's still ppg. But this thread focuses on the 1 goal.0 goals and 3 assists in the finals while battling a serious injury but my point still stands. The guy that rode Pat Maroons coattails of course…Remind me who has two Cups and who has none.
So is your team and if history tells us anything you’re probably headed for round 2At least you're still in the playoffs. Enjoy it.
This petty shit is embarrassing.
