Kucherov Appears to Intentionally Trip Rasmussen As He Scores

Jarome Iginla should sue you for libel. I've watched Iggy his whole career and he was the antithesis of a scumbag dirty player.

Btw, if you're gonna libel someone... spell their name correctly.
Iginla was one of the biggest babies and sore losers Ive ever seen play. So many dirty hacks to ankles and the back of legs in the dying seconds of the game.
The dude hated losing and handled it in a very Kucherov kind of way.

What McDavid did was provoked, overt and dangerous

What Kucherov did was unprovoked, covert and potentially dangerous

Ask any player in the league to pick one of the following options:

- Crosschecked in the face
- Tripped 2 feet from the net while at top speed

It's not even close. Only one of those plays can end a career.

Yes, Rasmussen is very lucky that Kucherov didn't cost him his career before it was really started.

Lies. Yes he hated losing but Iggy was a classy player who was highly respected throughout the league

I probably would have done the same thing. You're trying to stop the guy from scoring. You're not trying to injure him.

This is wrong. If you trip a player from behind on a breakaway on an empty net, thus stopping the player from scoring, the fouled team is awarded a goal. Kucherov would know this. He was being intentionally malicious.

Rule 25 – Awarded Goals 25.1 Awarded Goal – A goal will be awarded to the attacking team when the opposing team has taken their goalkeeper off the ice and an attacking player has possession and control of the puck (or would have gained possession and control) in the neutral or attacking zone, without a defending player between himself and the opposing goal, and he is prevented from scoring as a result of an infraction committed by the defending team (see 25.3 Infractions – When Goalkeeper is Off the Ice, below).
