Don't like it except for bolded. Certainly could have supported those players with more talent. Yandle and Giordano are nice, but not on the first pairing.

Good goalkeeper and one of the best defence in this league but with that said, it has to be one of the weakest teams up front.

Thoughts so far?

I think your going to have an underrated team, some how end up getting a high draft pick and be a top team in this league. Gagner is poised to breakout and I was going to select him but you selected him before me. Kunitz will be back on Crosby's line so he is going to put up some decent numbers. Paajarvi is a wild card. I think he will make the Oilers and have a great year, if not then there is always next year for him. Quick is the only guy I am worried about because of Jonathan Bernier emerging, I think Quick will lose his starting job this season.

Yea that's the exact reason I was shopping him earlier. If he does lose the starting job i'll have a backup plan for later, maybe i'll take another starter soon.

Yeah, you're potentially strong up the middle hinging on Bergland and Backlund. If they break out you'll have a strong team, but if they don't.... I like Kubina but not at his cap hit, he's a solid #2 though. I've always loved Pitkanen, but he's a borderline #1. Luongo is Luongo.

Here's my half way through. I've still got about 2mil per player in cap space for the 10 remaining roster spots. Let me know what you think.

Hodgson's pretty much a lock for the Canucks, but IDK about OEL.

Daymond Langkow. He has put up some decent numbers in the past, had an off-year but to be fair, the whole team had an off-year. I think he will have a bounce back season. Plus Brule is a RW. He played RW all of last season on the Oilers. Usually him and Penner played together.

So pissed I didn't get Lupul, I knew I should have taken him instead of McBain.

Considering Brule is a RW and Minnesota hasn't taken a defenseman yet i'd say that would be a better idea but Olli Jokinen is the best available IMO.
