Then why did Letang put up his highest single game point total (5) with Malkin and Crosby out of the lineup.....just saying.

Not a fan of dismissing "secondary assists" and I bet he had some good plays that weren't converted- but he didn't do a lot on those goals. There was a combination of Pavelec being (terrible) in net, and a couple of nice individual efforts after routine breakouts/dump-ins/rebounds.

You should go rewatch that game.

Half of the goals were scored because of Letang making insane passes.

Thanks for bringing up his bargain contract, which is just going to look more beautiful in the coming years while the Subbans and others of their ilk make 9-10m+.
