I would be good with Nelson and the 1st round pick, but not so much Dal Colle, a D would be better any chance DeHaan or Hamonic could be included?

Hamonic no chance. deHaan unlikely but it's possible. Would you take Adam Pelech? Definitely good enough to be in the NHL right now, but he had a terrifying injury last year and is down in Bridgeport to get playing time. He's 100% healthy now.

Btw, whats the deal with Hamonic and his trade request for family reasons? Have the reasons vanished and he is happy again?

I'd have a lot of time for Krug from SJ, but I really don't think we have much to offer. Burns, Vlasic, and Braun don't move, and I really wouldn't want to move DeMelo, so I can't really think of a good offer without insulting you.

Any Bruins fans have an ask?

What would Bruins fans want from Toronto for Krejci?

From the Leafs' POV, they can use use a veteran presence behind Matthews for the next couple of years and keep Nylander and Marner on the wing.

Looking at Matthews - Krejci - Kadri down the middle would be downright scary.

Hyman - Matthews - Nylander
JVR - Krejci - Marner
Komarov - Kadri - Soshnikov
Martin - Holland - Brown

Looks amazing.

That does look good, but what did you give up for Krejci in this scenario? Because the only D that would get him is Rielly and that's not going to happen..

What if it is 6million

I don't see Shattenkirk signing for $6M, but somewhere along the line a quote was attributed to him or his agent that he was looking for "Pietrangelo money" which is 7 years at $6.5M.

If, the Bruins are willing to pay that for Shatty (probable); and
If Krecji is willing to waive his NMC (doubtful); and
If Berglund is willing to waive his NTC (if he even has one for the Bruins - I think his is a 7 team no-trade-to)

...then I could see something around Krecji for Shattenkirk and Berglund helping both teams. There may need to be some additional assets for balance, but the cap difference is only $700K so a minor amount of retention should smooth that over if the Bruins feel it is necessary

Don't think I would take Pelech at this time, but would do Krejci for Nelson, DeHaan and the first round pick, Bruins could add maybe Morrow or McQuaid.

The Bruins are better off allowing Carlo and McAvoy, who has 1st-pairing potential, develop on the team than trade a #1C for a defenseman (Shattenkirk), with 1 year left, probably getting signed more than he's worth.

The Bruins just signed him in the offseason. Krug is not getting traded.

I'd do Krejci for Hartnell, and Milano. If you add Carlsson or Ryan Collins, that would be even better.

B's would still have Bergeron, Backes, and Spooner down the middle, but would upgrade their wing position, and add a few more prospects to the pool.

I think David Savard would make a better fit for the Bruins sake, but we'd have to send more salary to Boston to make it work.
Instead I think the Bruins ought to retain about a million on Krejci. He'd be more needed on the Jackets than the Bruins, but he'll likely be scoring 50 to 60 pts each year for the next 5, and that's not enough for $7m per.

I wouldn't mind a trade centered around Krejci & Savard. I don't know if the Bruins would retain a million though, and I don't know if Krejci would waive either.
