Maybe cut by a skate on the leg? He was able to skate off but seemed like he knew something wasn't right.

I slowed down an overhead and it looked like Orpik's shoulder/elbow hit Kreider up high and his neck twisted. It was after the end of the period when they showed the overhead. I think that's where it may have been. I don't know it's hard to tell.

It could be so much, for all we know he could have a broken rib from an earlier game with problems with the pain killers which often wears out after about a period.

Reminds me of when Kreider got hurt in 2013-14 out of nowhere it was reported he had a broken hand and missed the end of the season up until the middle of round 2.

Hopefully it's only a few days or weeks at most.

Looks like Vinni Lettieri is going to get his shot and play in the Winter Classic(!)

Yeah I would think Lettieri or Tambellini is the call up here.

Would normally think Holland, but bit sure how his recent suspension affects him NHL-wise.

Didn't that happen to Tukka Rask in a game against us 2 or so years ago? Played lights out in the first and their back up started in the second. The Boston announcers didn't even comment on it.

I would think Tambellini would be in the mix for callup just due to seniority.

If I had to choose, I would call up Lettieri
