Dang, Ostman's clearly used to playing behind minor league defenders.
Eyeball-wise, he looks comfortable and fluid and his fundamentals look good when the puck is in the Kraken zone. His reactions appear quick and sharp. He's made a couple exceptional saves.Dang, Ostman's clearly used to playing behind minor league defenders.

Happy for the kid.
Yikes, not sure what Kartye is doing there. That's a massive mismatch.
Ostman closes out the game with a fantastic 3rd period. IMO the team still looked lousy in front of him and he made 7 or 8 grade A saves. Absolutely love it for the guy.
This is why NHL ice time is so valuable for the almost ready guys. He looked fantastic tonight and made the most of an opportunity.Ostman closes out the game with a fantastic 3rd period. I’m all for it if it’s allowed rosterwise.OK not many games left let's rest the staters and bring up the whole Coachella Team plus a couple of Junior players to see what the hell we have...and lets have a plan in place by next season to offload some players of value before they are worthless...
And 6-4Didn't watch the game, but glad to read that Ostman had a good showing. For whatever reason, I thought he was in his late 20s but was pleasantly surprised to see he is only 24.
