GDT: Kraken at Sabres, 4:00 pm EST - Whatever

Something ain't mathing right.

5 losses after holding a 2 goal lead at any point.
7 losses when leading by 2 or more.

How? Shouldn't they be the same number?
Maybe they have lost 5 games where they had exactly a 2 goal lead but they’ve had 2 more losses having a larger lead (See Avs game for example). Just a bunch of unnecessary additional information.

Completely outplayed them in the first. Then gift them 6 goals in must have game. And we're trusting Adams to give away players for answers now a month too late.

Wtf.

On all levels to allow the month to happen and five games like this acting like they won or something then smoked.

As good a 1st period as they've played all season. That total team cluster-f*** on the tying goal during the last minute of the 2nd set the tone for the collapse in the 3rd.

Just pathetic. Completely pathetic. Totally unacceptable.

The most revealing part of the game was the nice kid interviewing Thompson during the intermission (pre-recorded). The kid asks Tage who his favorite former Sabre was growing up and he tells him Tim Connelly.

It explained a lot to me why Tage plays the way he does. Especially when he attempts to take on multiple opponents at the same time.

Got a hint for ya Tage.... you ain't no Tim Connelly.

Maybe try to model your game after Pat LaFontaine instead??

Maybe Tage and Tim have some of the same of ice habits as well?

I think more people on this board are coming around to the pretty obvious thing about Tage... he's not very smart. Extremely skilled but not the guy you build a team around as a top line center.

Listened to about 10 minutes of the second while doing other shit. Saw the score at the 2nd intermission and coincidentally it ws also me seeing the writing on the wall. Didn't follow the game anymore. Wasn't surprised to see the end score at 6-2 the wrong way when I checked later in the day.

Play a good first period like that and then just give up. Gilbert's dumb mistake, Byram keeps losing his stick and making mistakes, Bryson just throws it into his own net with his hand, Cozens can't hit the puck properly at either his own or his opponent's net and keeps brain fart. Injured Tage, invisible Tuch. Ruff apparently just can't make this mess work and I'm not sure who can. Terry and Adams are sitting in the arena admiring their creation, stupid idiots.

Haven't watched in a while, but it's crazy to me this team still does this stuff. Young team and all, but Tage, Tuch, etc...have been around long enough, and they were some of the worst culprits.

Years of being coached that it didn’t matter, to make the extra pass.
