Not a lot of penalties taken. Not one of those games you look back on and remember.

In a game with almost no special teams, Mika's line having the 2nd least ice time is a pleasing surprise.
Jones playing less than 15 mins is less so based on how he and Schneider (less than 14) have played
Trouba and Lindgren play 4d chess. You get more ice time if you get hemmed in your zone for 3 minutes every shift and can't change.

a short post about kaapo kakko:

-why does no one ever want to celebrate goals with kakko

-i feel like he’s secretly the funniest guy on the team

-I want kakko to be the first player in NHL to sign 5 consecutive one year deals with the same team. and he can score exactly 40 points each year. would be such a beautiful kakko thing.

The end.

Maybe because he doesn't score any?

Laf now tied with Cuylle for most 5v5 goals on the team, he's (Laf) also 2nd in points 1 behind Panarin.
Jones now has as many 5v5 pts as Fox does, Schneider leads all D-men with 6.
Between then, Mika, Kreider, Trouba, Lindgren and Miller have 10 pts...

We're getting the results more nights than not, but 20% of the way through the season and the vets and highly paid guys really aren't pulling their weight.

Mostly solid, quiet road win. Going to be tough without Chytil driving that third line making it a legitimate scoring threat, especially when Mika's line is nothing of the sort. Going to need Panarin's line to do much of the heavy lifting.

Great game by Quick, it's truly impressive with his style that he's still this good at his age. Especially after he looked completely washed a couple years ago.

As promised — Mika made Henrik’s day.

All around real good game. Rangers got ahead and went into a classic 1-3-1. Will Cuylle was a beast. Seattle doesn’t have a lot of skill and it showed. Great game and fun experience being in another NHL arena.
