Tampa has 5 games left, so 2 more games for Kuckerov and they have games against the Sabres and Wings at home. He’s probably gonna put up like 6 or 7 points just in those 2 games. Something like 4 against the Sabres, 3 against Detroit.

I see a team barely getting by Vegas' C- team and going 1 for 18 or whatever it is on the PP. MacKinnon looking like a disaster, Nelson disappearing, Lehkonen has been trash for the past month, Nuke falling off a cliff, defence constantly injured, Makar/Toews overplayed, and goalers lacking focus/sharpness, especially Blackwood. Did I write anything that is wrong here?

Team looked like absolute garbage in the last 10 or so games during 2022, and then went 16-4 in the playoffs

Although I do agree the circumstances are different here, especially regarding Nelson trying to find his role on the team

It's too bad we didn't get Charlie Coyle from 5-6 years ago. I always thought the guy was a stud in Minnesota

He's been a giant PITA to play against his entire career. That's why I was thrilled when we got him. Dude just finds a way to be in the middle of shit. Like breaking up plays defensively, creating havoc around the net. He's also already one of our more physical players. He's not running around looking for hits or anything, but he does not shy from contact and will even initiate a fair amount more than most of the rest of our team.

Dude's still a PITA, I'm just glad he's our PITA now.

Not really but I still have a little hope left that most of them just don't give a shit about mostly meaningless games. They could just suck but that's not how I live my life. I will be depressed when they are eliminated, until then I can't control how they play so I have hope they will win it all

Actually I was kinda impressed that the scrubs fought really hard. The team, each and every player up and down the line up including scratches, needs that kind of fire in the belly. And frankly, it’s good if they can perform and win. I want the players to have confidence in themselves and each other. I sure as Hell don’t take it for granted that we won’t need the scrubs to fill in at some point in the POs. I just hope the DTD players are ready to ramp up the intensity when the POs start.

Home, took it out. It bobbles correctly. First thing my missus said, impressed, was “This is like a professional bobble head.”

A professional bobble head? I had no response.

Further examination tho, it looks 90% like Nate and 5% still not like Cale. Got # right. Did note that the little stick had a curve on it tho. Props/ And it’s a pretty hefy hunk of whatever it’s made of… profession bobble head material I guess. So whomever sent this off to China for replication, they sent a pic of Nate but mebbe got Cale’s P88 curve right.

Sums it up. Hadn't been motivated to hit gms this year... went last eve and left w/ similar motivation. Lack of that is.. missing players or not. Reasons you list, plus..

10-11 days off is too much time. The 6-7 days between our last game of the season and first game of the playoffs is more than enough rest.
