Klingberg's cap hit was 4.15M last year what are you talking about? For me it's the fact he got more than he did last year with the Leafs. They were at least able to bury him.

What difference does it make to have some cash being salary and other cash being bonus? Isn't it all averaged out?I don't get what he did to deserve a bonus. Does he want to prove he isn't still trash or not? He should be making all the sacrifice. We're giving him a golden opportunity to prove he deserves a deal next year.

There is a lot of shit storm behind the scenes with the team this--I thought it was just the Miller/Pettersson problem but you have Debruck and his stalking that MOVED from Boston to Vancouver to keep tabs on him and according the canuck board there sounds to be some more mayhem that has not come to light yet.
Edit
First shoe has dropped about Denko not being happy
Next up is Brovk Boeser. UFA in the off season and indication right now is that he wont resign in VancouverSpeculation: Thread 'Doug MacLean: Demko not happy in Vancouver'
He said it today on Sportsnet with kypreos. He's hearing that Demko isn't happy in Vancouver. Unfortunately his health is still an issue. Any Offers on Demko? Canucks could continue to run with Lankinen and Silovs as a 1A and 1B.
Canucks looking for a top 4 dman.

According to Dhaliwal:
The Canucks and Boeser have yet to engage in any contract talks. As per Dhaliwal, They wont let Boeser walk away for nothing in the offseason and if they dont have a new contract in order by TDL, He will be moved.
Boeser of course is upcoming UFA but has expressed his desire to stay in Van,
Canucks management is in a tough position as the team is in limbo right now in regards to making the playoffs and selling/buying.
Boeser is still only 27 yrs old.
Playing at a 33 goal pace this year.. Scored 40 goals last year inlcuding 7 in 12 playoff games.
Trade...

Oh my. I looked a bit into the stalker thing and from what I'm seeing, the woman from Reindeer Games would be saying that girl has a problem.
WTF lol. Looks like Debrusk Jr doesn't know hw to pick them or maybe had a one night stand with a weirdoThe fact she went to twitter to complain about the fact she is banned from attending any nhl games Debrusk plays in and how she has now loved the move from Boston to Vancouver
Btw, what's up with that kid they got for McLeod? I thought he was supposed to have potential."Free Stuff!!"
- Stan Bowman(probably lol)
Solid low risk test-drive on a veteran player with extensive NHL second pair experience. Can he play at that level missing more than a year with a significant rare surgery to correct his injury? All likelihood is no. But if he can provide NHL depth 3RD/7th defenseman with his experience, length, and puck moving/processing ability it helps to improve this team's bonafide NHL depth.
Highly doubt this stops the Oilers from targeting a significant defensive upgrade.
Credit to Bowman who has picked over waivers for a former 1st round pedigree Kapinen, a project early prime years d-man Regula, and now a dice roll on a mystery box with a real good runway of NHL experience. This is Go Year. They will be pursuing all avenues big and small to upgrade this prime window team. So why not throw another Klingberg on the fire.
Looks like Johny Sins before he lost his hair.Who is this?
Who is this?
He looks like a 73 to meWhat number is he getting? 3 is retired and Arvi has 33
We aren’t the only team that was interested in him. Not the only top 10 team interested in him either. So maybe the amount of the contract that was bonus was what got us the player. Ultimately who cares?I don't get what he did to deserve a bonus. Does he want to prove he isn't still trash or not? He should be making all the sacrifice. We're giving him a golden opportunity to prove he deserves a deal next year.
Arvidson makes far more lol that is not apples to oranges comparison and is a multi year deal.Yes I do. Like Arvidisson...if he gets injured he takes up a contract spot. I understand it is a low risk but with him it is matter of when not if he gets injured. Contract wise we are 46/50.
Since you want to be snarky--can you figure out why I am looking at the 50 man contract list? A few years ago the oilers tried to do a trade but they were at the 50 contract limit and they other team was not willing to take a contract back.
You clearly are aware if the 50 contract rule as it is one of the more complex natures of the league and how taking on so many injury prone players can affect things you can do.
BTW
Can you find me that stats for some guy names Alec Regula? I see his name being an oiler but I can not find his stats
The "kid" is Matt Savoie and he's going to the AHL Allstar game soon. So, pretty decent.Btw, what's up with that kid they got for McLeod? I thought he was supposed to have potential.

He was. But he was paid to be a top-4 and failed miserably. Allegedly due to his bad hips. The guy was -7 in his 14 games this year with the Leafs. I don't watch the Leafs at all but wonder if he was a tirefire there too
Arvidson makes far more lol that is not apples to oranges comparison and is a multi year deal.
Calling this a massive gamble is ridiculous
I dont mind taking a chance he may just look good in our top 4 d pairings. Then you walk away and let him be someone else's problem.
Is Janmark wearing a McDavid jersey? Classic.
