With half their top 6 this is a solid strategy. It's what Flint employed and they kept the games close.

I'm ok if they don't necessarily draft size. You can always trade for some bigger grittier players. I hope they fill out the bottom 6 with players like that the next two seasons

You could dress Hlacar (if he’s good to go), Labrash and MacNiel. Play MacNiel on the wing to keep Xu in the lineup?

I just think they have enough smaller type players. Brock Otten's mock has Rangers taking another smaller player. I agree with your points.
