Kitchener Rangers 2024-25 Season Thread, Part IV

As effective as the 4th line can be, might we see a shortening of the bench later in the game if the score is tight?

I get that Jussi likes to roll four lines, and did so throughout game one, but in tight games I’d like to see double shifting of the top players in the latter stages.

I feel we should keep rolling with 4 and "rest" the top 3 lines for the next round. The 4th line is doing okay.

I understand resting the top three lines for the next round, but we were a shot away from a loss. Windsor is having their way with the Soo. Hard to think that series goes past four games.

This one could go longer. If it means in the tight games, we shorten the bench in the last 5-7 minutes of the third, we maybe close the deal in regulation, and have close to as short a series.

All 4 regular season meetings this year were 1 goal games with 3 of them going into OT or a shoot out. We won 3 of them without shortening the bench. We'll be okay.

The first goal is100% on Parsons.
I understand what you are saying. However, this is a 20-man team, and once players start getting on each other and pointing fingers, the team loses its identity and family atmosphere. I'm sure you don't want that. The game comes with player errors, all players, even the referees and coaches errors as well. How does this team positively handles these errors as a team will help determine how far will they go in these series. In my humble opinion, Cheers!

Your opinion has never been humble. You preach like you're some sort of authority and not just another observer.

Thank you, sir ! No one needs to agree with everyone.
I don't agree with a lot of stuff from fans here, but that doesn't make me right or them wrong.
It's a message board in which fans can offer up their opinions pro or con on teams or players.i actually enjoy differing opinions, it would kill this room if we all agree. As for tone?... who cares, grow thicker skin. I saw the stuff on the London board and I didn't think it was warranted there either. As a matter of fact they became what they were accusing FB of....strange I guess.

He did this in the Knights thread for years, everyone got so sick of him he was either on a block list or being made fun of...so now he's migrated to Ranger land I guess until he gets run out of here too.
Total None Sense ! I have been roaming on all threads for ages, even before I became Fastpace. No readers have to agree with every poster opinions. If anyone can't ignore posts or control their temperament about someone's opinion, it is on them, not on the person who wrote the post.

Watching the warmup, if Clattenburg or McCue want a 5min sit with Hlacar for the Rangers I'll take that all day. Clattenberg should have been given a warning or be starting this game in the box for his repeated escapades on the Rangers side of centre. Spineless linesmen.
Hope someone can tune Clattenberg .

Clattenburg is at least willing to amp things up. I think they might have a leash on McCue, because it's been all talk from him.
