Yeesh. Surely round one will be a formality. (I know. Ask the 2023 Spits about that).

But if we don’t get to round two game 6 or 7 minimum, we’ll be back here debating whether we should have sold off or not at the deadline!

When you finish a strong 2nd overall and likely with 100 points, I don't think you question whether we should have sold off or not, no matter what happens. That would be the ultimate arm chair GM.

Just chalk it up to sometimes crap happens and move on. It's not like MM mortaged the future or anything for something that wasn't there. You can't sell off every season that you don't come out on top.

No problem with MacNeil getting 4, but I've seen unsportsmanlike penalties given for far less than Sim's theatrical tantrum. Good on MacNeil, he took a good shot at the end but kept throwing until Sim's was on his ass.
Sim seems to be a real competitor, but from what I've seen of him he needs to learn how to be a big boy and not melt down when something doesn't go his way sometimes.

I like Ellinas fighting. Both teams are locked in for playoffs where they are.

Allen asked for it, Ellinas doesn't shy away from Sim or Allen. A bit of an edge is when he plays best.

As I said on the Knights board, replay showed his gloves were on and he was bending over to pick up his stick when he was jumped.
