Headrick and Ellis have been playing well, esp Headrick. With Labrash (6'5') centring that line, their average height may be 5'10".

Kidding, kidding (sigh, maybe not).

Headrick's older brother, the one that played for Erie on D, wasn't he 6'1", 6'2"?

They really need to find a way to get inside to the dirty areas. Everything is from
the outside which is pretty easy to defend. A lot of games going forward are going to get tougher and tougher. Goal scoring in general needs to get much much better.

Just a thought on the new players joining the roster. Pridham and Humpreys both jumped right on to the first line automatically. Should they have had to earn that position without learning the system here first? Humpreys apparently wasn't getting into that many games if the information out there is correct. Both seem to be skilled forwards that have the talent to be first line players. By Jussi injecting these players automatically do other vets noses get a bit out of joint or just accept it? Jussi said Humpreys needs to get into shape. Wondering what other posters think regarding this.

I think Pridham started lower but could be wrong. Thought he worked his way up. I honestly don’t mind either way. Working your way up is fine but also being put in a position to succeed right away in a new country, new players, new system, etc is also fine with me too. They both are clearly players in our top 6. It’s a business and players need to realize that other players are better than they are…..these 2 players are in that mold and whether you give them that spot right away or make them fight for it they are going to get there. I like the idea of being put in a position to succeed better than grinding your way up. These are just 16 to 19 year old after all and for a player coming to a new country / team half way through the season that’s probably enough stress for them to worry about. If they struggle then you can always move them down the line up.
