How I’d deal with the D for the rest of this year and going into next year:Xu's signing does make me wonder what the defence would look like.
Right now (with Chromiak) it has pretty much been:
Ando-Chromiak
Reid-Campbell
Dirracolo-Bilecki
I'm not sure who I would be taken out cause I have liked how Bilecki has looked on the back end.
I'll chip in $10Valentini and Hextal are probably 2 of the most expensive transfer fees in the USHL.
If I can get a charitable receipt, I am good for $20.I'll chip in $10
Perfect! Get him the minutes. He needs to play.Kaden Schneider has been added to Cambridge’s roster.
I can still see the dumb look on Cameron’s face at the end of the 2011 WJC gold medal game.Looking like Rehkopf will be a healthy scratch for Game 1. Cameron sucks!
I couldn't believe that he didn't call a time out after the 2nd or 3rd goal in that game.I can still see the dumb look on Cameron’s face at the end of the 2011 WJC gold medal game.
I mean, I suppose he couldn’t do any worse than Letang, but …..
One of the analysts mentioned that as you rise in levels of the game, your opportunity to be one dimensional diminishes. So, if you are a goal scorer, you need to be able to contribute with another aspect of your game…strong on the forecheck, playing the body, killing penalties, in those games where the goals might not be coming.
As great a scorer as Rekhopf is, I am not sure what he has to offer beyond that, which is why he isn’t dressing. It’s also something he will need to work on to become a regular in the N.
Hope he does get the chance to play, and makes the most of it to stay in the lineup.
A cynic might ask, “Then what’s he doing on the team to begin with?”.Rehkopf has never had the compete level needed on a consistent basis. Given the roster and quality of players at their disposal aside from a trigger man on the PP I don't see how much he adds over some of the others.
Well, he scored a hatty against the Usports team. That got him on the roster. After that, he hasn’t registered a point in three exhibition games. Somebody has to sit. What she doing on the team to

Umm, What’s he doing on the team to begin with?
If the goal scoring dries up I'm sure Rehkopf will get into the lineup. What she doing on the team to

Like last year on the PP.If the goal scoring dries up I'm sure Rehkopf will get into the lineup.
Someone has to be the odd man out. Nice luxury to have a 50 goal scorer as an 18yo waiting in the wings... as others have said if goal scoring becomes a concern. What she doing on the team to

Then why pick him at all??? If it wasn't for Letang and his idiot choices last time around, Rehkopf would have "contributed" a heck of a lot more than the others he was playing. And spoiler alert, look at who assisted on Martone's goals this season. It doesn't take a particularly intelligent person to place them on the same line together. And to be clear, none of us know why he was a healthy scratch. Again, why pick him for the team at all?....One of the analysts mentioned that as you rise in levels of the game, your opportunity to be one dimensional diminishes. Goal scoring was dry enough last night. If it wasn't for Burz in the 3rd, Finland was still in the game.If the goal scoring dries up I'm sure Rehkopf will get into the lineup.
A team is the sum of it's parts. They probably picked Rake in case they had a situation where they needed a pure goal scorer. On the flip side, you can ask why they didn't pick up Michael Misa? It's all a balancing act and a job that I wouldn't want. Then why pick him at all???
Well that’s why a guy like Barlow didn’t even get invitedOne of the analysts mentioned that as you rise in levels of the game, your opportunity to be one dimensional diminishes. I suppose they could have used some goal scoring tonight.A team is the sum of it's parts. They probably picked Rake in case they had a situation where they needed a pure goal scorer.
