Don’t the rangers have to pay it?
I’m not sure. I thought the CHL team was not allowed to pay it. Has to do with competitive advantage, etc. etc.

If CHL teams were allowed to pay it, you have the Londons and Kitcheners of the world paying big bucks all the time while the Owen Sounds of the world not able to financially.

Rangers could hire Mrs Ellis to head up Team Spirit for 100,000 a yr. 😉

We don't consider FP a Knights fan
Couldn't care less what you consider or not, It is not up to you to decide, of what team I want to be a fan of. -What you really meant to say is, you do not consider FP as a member of your little private public club ;). Kitchener fans have so much more understanding and respect for their players, fans and posters, London Board might learn something

Great. Stay here then. We've had enough of your drivel on the LK board.

Someone mentioned that London had a lot of sloppy passes which they'll clean up. I'd like to counter that slightly that the Rangers did clog up passing lanes and caused a lot of those sloppy passes. Trouble was Kitchener was on their heels and London was so fast, so London retrieved almost every loose puck uncontested.

Parsons did play a great game and made a lot of fantastic saves. But it was rare that he was completely left hung out to dry, which is often the case where one team is so dominant in puck possession. I think you have to at least give the Rangers team defense coverage credit for that.
Yes, I noted the sloppy passes and you're right. London had the puck stolen off their stick more than once (ie. Cowan...and others of course). While Rangers shot count was down in the 1st, their team D was hustling out there. This did not happen in the next 2 periods. Sure, London dialed it up but I didn't think the boys were going after them like they did in the first. This is all about gaining experience and learning from their mistakes. Rangers ARE rebuilding (MM stick to the plan!) and personally, I can't believe how well they have played thus far. This bodes to a great future!

I might check out the practice today to see if he's on the ice and what colour jersey Antsis is wearing.
I suspect these additions are upgrading the talent levels but it may mess up with the team chemistry for a few games.
I would assume that the additions of Pridham and Ellis along with the return of some injured players will trigger roster movement via reassignments and/or trades in the near future.

If Antsis is healthy and Ellis is playing that would make 16F (only IR player Headrick). 4 forwards sitting per night is too many. I’d expect MM to trim the roster by 2 very shortly and then drop another one by trade deadline to make room for Headrick once back. I’d love to see one of the OA Fs being 1 of the 2 and then Bottineau for the 2nd. I just don’t see Bott being an OA option for mem cup year so give the players that will be here that year the ice.

According to the OHL draft pick database which goes back to the 15-16 season, except for the Covid year, every year there has been a flurry of deals in the month of November. League wide. Many of the blockbuster variety.

This year? One deal on November 1st. (Molnar to Sudbury).

That’s the CHL / NCAA rule change effect. Everyone is waiting to see….

Well, was Mercer a healthy scratch the other night? Did Jussi go with his best 12 F’s?

Or was he nursing something?
