I mean if there isn't much a market for an OA goalie I say trade off what you can and let Paraosn help win you a round or 2 to gain some more experience.

It’s a lot of work (too much for me to do) to look up OA spots left and which contenders need a goalie but I don’t think many goalies are playing as strong as Parsons has all year.

If it allows the rangers to take back a 18 or even 19 year old for next year and a potential OA season after that would be good too in case Edward's or Shauble aren't up to snuff.

Knights played a solid game. Kept the Rangers from generating any momentum.
Parsons was steller. When you talk about building a squad for a run MM was just handed a measuring stick.
I think this current team with an addition or 2 could compete with most of the league, except the Knights who somehow seem even stronger than last year.

Knights goalie Elliott is an OA... is good but not at Parsons' level. Hunters would be wise to try and do a swap + picks for Parsons. Medveded is excellent, but not ready for prime time.

This was the only game in the OHL tonight. All eyes around the league were on this game tonight. And all eyes around the league saw what Parsons can do. There may be teams out there who think they are set in net who could do worse than an upgrade with Parsons.

Look at Brampton for instance. They are all in this year, but Ivankovic is only 17 and has been ordinary. And they have an open spot.

Everybody knows London is the top team in the conference. We knew this from day one and we knew this going into tonight.

Kitchener can make some noise in the playoffs this year, but that’s it. Just some noise.

Stay to the plan Mike.

Boys are losing a lot of the battles.
That is what inexperience does, but what a classic game this was, the Rangers played a great defensive game against an older experience team. Nothing to be ashamed of this performance, you learn big time from these close games against strong opponents. They just couldn't open up against a powerful London, I thought that penalty shot call was very weak. Kitchener just couldn't push back in the second, London never allowed it. Both teams went 1 for 5 on PPs, the Rangers had to keep this game close to have any chance, and they did that, just couldn't get the tying goal.

London have 15 NHL draftees in its lineup, plus two more were invited, against Kitchener 4 draftees, I know Parson was invited but don't how if there were more, got to tip your hat to Rangers' effort

If you can get Ivanmovic back in a deal for Larson I tho k you should take it. Sets you up well for him to be 18 next year and 19 in the year we hope to host the memorial cup.

That’s not going to happen. Any deal where Parsons goes to Brampton has Ivankovic backing him up.

I would make it a picks deal and bring Edwards up to split the duties with Schaubel for the rest of the season.

Well, it felt like I was watching the Washington Generals against the Globetrotters at times tonight! Knights were just too dominant and moved the puck with ease. I can't stand the team but I can appreciate their skill level.

I don't know what the stats were for faceoff percentage but it seemed like London won at least 80% of them.

Physically, we couldn't compete with them. Very few puck battles won by our guys.

Only one reason this game was close!

The scoreboard is not showing how badly they are being outplayed. London is very strong. We would need to add 5 or 6 players to compete with them. MM do the right thing and sell the vets, give the kids the ice and fill up the draft cupboard.
No, that was not a bad played game at all, frustrating to watch from fans yes, they had to play the defensive game against London, or it could have been a blow out. Kitchener played a great team defense game, I am sure the coaches are very happy with their efforts tonight, this game speaks a lot for Kitchener's future

Makes sense, but I don't know how I feel about trying to compete next year with 2 young goalies who will have both played probably less than 20 games each by the start of next season.

You go with Edwards and Schaubel to start the season. If we find that we are in a situation where goaltending is our only weak point, you trade for a starter.

We have a very thin 05 OA group next year. OA goalies, as history has shown, are very cheap to acquire.

That’s the way to go

Actually, I just might make that deal for an OA G during the pre season. That’s around the time the Costantini and Simpson deals happen.

Careful… some may not like your positive outlook on the game and it benefitting the younger players as a learning moment

Very true on all fronts. We could get lucky and one of them may be amazing as a young goalie next year and we won't have to upgrade which would be nice but if we truly want to compete next year we need competent goaltending.

Could we also see a scenario where Brampton feels as though they need Parsons and Ando and decide to trade us one of their older goalies for the rest of the year and then a 2 part trade happens next year where we get Ivankovich?
