He needs to sit. Objectively our worst forward game-in game-out.

He honestly looks like he's given up on himself. He signed a decent contract and he's not hungry enough to work for one bigger. It's sad.

I'm giving Dach a mulligan this season after his serious knee injury. Many here were panicking about Caufield's shot last year after shoulder surgery.

Caufield still had a good season when you factor in the significance of his surgery, less goals than expected but overall he showed progress.

I’m willing to give Dach a pass to a certain degree up to this point, I think now a 1/4 of the way through the season you have to start having some expectations for him and the ability to start turning his season around from today on wards. Yeah, it likely won’t be a good season no matter what but with 60 games left if he could find a way to get say 40 points in those 60 games it gives you some optimism for next season and that maybe he fits into the plans of the team.

Another 60 games like this? Yeah, it’s not gonna work.

Dude's ass offensively but you can't even put him on a 3rd line because he can't play defense. He'll keep getting chances because he's a 3rd pick overall but it doesn't look good for him!

He’s lazy. Won’t be a Hab when his contract runs out. Hawks gave up on him for a reason, we see it every night.

Do you think he should be sent down for a few? What's the solution here?
Put him in pop corn row! Let him watch and earn his way back into the lineup.

His injury has nothing to do with his compete level. The guy looks like he would rather be somewhere else. If you’re not scoring, at the very least hustle and work hard.

He’s lazy, soft, and horrible on his side of the red line. He isn’t the solution to the 2c problem.

Moving him up with CC and NS killed that line. CC, NS, and Slaf had something work.

It was just two months ago someone tried to convince me a line of Newhook Dach and Roy was a good 2nd line. Good times.

Dach is brutal, Roy is garbage, Newhook is a third liner at best.
I said this a couple of weeks ago about Newhook, on a decent team at best he will be a 3rd liner. I can accept it, but Dach I just don't know where we fit him going forward. I mean the Hawks gave up on him, should have seen this coming

The Blackhawks went scorched earth and traded players who were due for new contracts and could bring back 1st round picks. They didn't give up on Dach. Did they give up on Debrincat too?

Ya lol that totally slipped my mind. So replace send down with sit him in the stands for a couple.
I’d sit him as well. He’s moving like a 2001 Chevy Impala with 350k on it. If he’s not hurt which is what they’re telling us, then a message needs to be sent. Still too early to give up on him however. He isn’t as bad as he’s playing.
