Like Price said : Chill out!

We saw what he can be when he is healthy and confident. He is probably really hard on him but im sure he'll find his swagger back.

One thing tho, can he shoot the f***ing puck. He's always looking to pass even when he have the best position to shoot. Always been his biggest problematic. He need to trust his shoot because if not he is really predictable
When he came here 2 years ago he didn't shoot either, but then he scored a couple of goals and then his overall game improved. He can shoot but he needs to have the confidence that he can score goals and he has crap overall confidence this year, but hopefully he is coming around.

It's about impossible to be a productive centre without a shot because obviously then the D plays the pass.

I’m not saying you’re a Slaf hater.

I’m saying that you try to take a shot at people having common sense by wanting to be patient with Dach, saying when people defend a player with ‘’essays’’ that means he’s toast.

Same happened in the Slaf thread and the ‘’haters’’ like you called it, were wrong about him.
Nah, you directly responded to me with a single sentence referencing Slaf, hoping I was a Slaf hater. It didn't work and now you're scrambling. One player was literally in his D+2 and the other is currently D+6.

No.

My reference was that people were defending Slaf while people were calling him a bust before he even had the chance to develop and surprise, surprise he wasn't.

People defending Dach by explaining why he isn't at his best now, doesn't ''prove'' anything on his future like you tried to say.

there has been some progress the last couple of games. He's still hasnt been good, but I see an adjustment in his game to timing.

Needs more intensity, quicker decision making. I would like to see carry the puck more, which was his bread and butter.

It's a valid question. Some of the thoughts of the Hawks' forum:

This season is first time we seen why Hawks soured on Kirby Dach. Injuries and lack of work ethic at times

I've seen him take some shifts off
Weird... Can't say that I've noticed that.

Appears the coaching staff doesn't either, otherwise I doubt they'd be playing him as much and as consistently as they do despite his output struggles.

Watching is step one... Understanding what one is watching, important step two. We understand the game very differently.
Yes, Mill you need to watch and learn the game. Dach has to win faceoffs. Offensive line starting off without the puck putting yourself behind the eight ball see. You going to be chasing the play. He's at 30% or something. Which is obviously horrendous.

Last few games his play in all three zones has been ok. Better than first 15 games. Down low, so-so I have him. Last 5 games or about, Dach is playing better defensively.

Now I see why a team about to undertake a rebuild (Chicago) would not want this player as part of the rebuild. Hughes got fleeced. I would rather have Romanov.

Seriously he needs to sit.
