He is too big, too skilled and has had too many good games to give up in him aver 17games coming back from injury. You give up on these players at your own peril.
If we give up on him now, we risk giving him away at a huge loss of value and potentially watch him figure it out somewhere else. Even if he ends up busting, they should give him every opportunity to succeed. It’s not like he’s blocking anyone in the line up.

This. At 3.5 for 2 years in a rebuild what’s the point of trading him for cheap?

Patience is not the strongest suit of this fan base. We'd jettison just about everyone at the first sign of trouble.​

I'm 100% serious in saying I wouldn't even consider trading him even if he struggles all year, unless someone offers a package we can't refuse. I just can't see how with his skating, size and hands he wont become at the very least a valuable middle 6 player at some point.
