What will happen with Dach?

Why are you stuck in the past? All his injuries are in the past. Who cares about how many games he missed. He is in the lineup and playing. He should be well rested to contribute for the second half. Yet you still want to cry about his past injuries. That is like bemoaning all the cups we could have won since 1993. The important thing is what happens now going forward. Move on and watch hockey.

It's not clear that Dach is among the top twelve forwards.

He more likely would be if he had developed properly without interruption.

Gossiping 🤣These guys are around the team 365 days out of the year /Louis Morissette who's a clown of course.
Did you actually listen?

The one guy says “I heard he’s got a bad attitude”

Talbot responds with “yeah it shows”

Crete responds with “the worst thing you could do to this guy take away his mirrors”

This has absolutely nothing to do with critiquing his play, just 3 grown ass man sitting around gossiping.

None of them actually has the courage to say anything they saw themselves, just hiding behind their lame ass podcast with next to no reach, all to shit on a player they don’t like. This is the very definition of gossip.

Sorry @Mrb1p I know you hate Dach, but this is lame as hell

It's funny how many morons eat that stuff up.
Just a small, but impressionable and vocal minority.

Probably mad because he doesn’t give them the time of day.

Either way, I couldn’t give a damn about perceived attitude of players.

I learned the best way to deal with those people is to just let them babble to themselves and never acknowledge their existence. Gotta treat them like the homeless crackheads on the street and just keep walking on by.

As for Kirby, people need to remember that he only has 30 more games played than Slaf. Slaf just took a big step recently. It's not crazy to think if Dach could ever string along some good luck with his health, he's also capable of taking a big step.

That hope is hanging on by a thread for me but this video about his “attitude” is just trash.

Oh, 417, Dachs play speaks for itself, lmao.

It's just an inside look in the problematic that is Kirby Dach. He's a bad hockey player and it all stems from him being a lazy punk.

So he avoids contact and we criticize him and he plays hard and fights and we criticize him. Maybe the problem is not Dach but the expectations from some in the fan base. He comes back from a broken bone and has played two games. Not the worst out there. Some are chomping at the bit for his next IR layover and were getting excited yesterday when he cut his finger playing hard. I think maybe some should resort to edibles or valium and let the guy play hockey!
Expecting him to play more than 50 % of the games is setting the bar too high. We know.

So speak on his play.

Don’t chat to me about what you heard.

I don’t rate gossip, if that’s your kind of thing to each his own.

It ain’t for me.

Alain Crete and Maxine Talbot ain’t got an inside look at anything going on with the Habs.

That’s why they go on these bum ass podcasts to get likes from gossip lovers.

I couldn’t care less if a player is nice or a total shit piece, I’ve interacted with enough of them to know that most of them are the latter.

Yuck

they wouldn't dare make that claim about a local guy, Talbot is trash
Give the guy a chance - maybe he's healthy the rest of the way and is solid down the middle. I know it's a high bar to expect 6 points for 5.5 million like local legend and star, Danault, but I'm sure Dach can out-pace that in his sleep.

I liked when he dropped his gloves, showed he wants to be part of the team even if it wasn't the right thing to do. Dach has some great tools, hoping for his health to remain :(

They say these things about Dach because they know he’s not a very popular player

You wanna shit on Dach for his play?

Fair game

You want to start taking shots at his character?

Please give me more than “I heard this, I heard that”.

Did not know that, so had to look it up (35 games)

It's absolutely wild that Dach has missed that much time, as he was drafted 3 years prior to Slaf.

Slaf also missed over half of his rookie year to injury so it's even crazier when you think about it.

That's the sort of shit people say when they really have nothing to critique. Just pathetic anecdotes and opinion that cannot be argued about. It's the same as what MrBip has been yapping about for the past year solid. It's obvious when you hate someone and no one should take your comments seriously.

It's a reflection on why his development has a player has stagnated. I don't really care if he's a POS either, barring some social parameters that shouldn't be crossed.

Tell me there's no way you think that Dach is a hard worker, on the ice and off the ice. It's clear that his preparation, like others before him, is just not up to par. The fact that they say he sees himself as a superstar is just more fuel to the fire.

Sorry man, but I can't follow your narrative. Bemoaning a hockey team, where every single player and anyone who touched the franchise in 93 is gone. What are you talking about?

Kirby Dach is Kirby Dach is Kirby Dach. If you want to have the narrative that his injuries is because of bad luck, go right on ahead and ignore my posts going forward on the topic; I vehemently disagree with that narrative.

Kirby Dach continues to get injured because of Kirby Dach. He is the one to blame for all the injuries that have happened to him. It is clear now after years in the NHL he does not know how to take a hit. He does not know how to rehab.

Can this all be behind him? Sure. That is always in the realm of possibility. Will you be surprised if he gets injured again? If you say you would be surprised: you are a liar.

Ok let's play your game...tell us when he will be injured and on the IR again if you are so sure it is going to happen?

I don't think it's a game, it's this mans career. Like I said above: could it be behind him? I have no way of knowing. What do we know: That in his career to date, he has had many injuries which have totalled to more games missed then games played.

I'm not talking in riddles, I am not inferring futures. I am stating facts that have shown he has a pattern of getting hurt. Often past behaviours dictate how someone will be have in the future. Often is not always. I'm no fortune teller.

The problem is also that injuries can compound on each other. He hurt his knee in 24 and that same injury messed him up in 25…

The latest injury would normally be no big deal but it meant more lost time.

I love the way he plays the game and I think he could’ve had a great career but things aren’t what they were they’re what they are. I was rooting hard for him but I always knew he’d probably not play 82 games.

As I said at the start of the year, at this point I think he’d be happy just salvaging an NHL career.

But that’s not the discussion they were having. It wasn’t in relation to his development, just gossip based on “I heard this”.

I’m good with critiquing players, I draw the line at critiquing their character outside of their game unless there’s something that publicly known that says otherwise.

He for sure could work harder on the ice, off the ice I don’t know.

Again, I’ve got no problem with critiquing his work ethic, we can go back and forth on that.

But that’s not what that video was about.

Again, it's a discussion on his value as a player. Hard work is a skill as much as skating speed and size.
