Hi just wondering how are you guys injury-wise. I think it is safe to say you are fighting for 3-4 in the standings and more the point who does not want to play Brampton.

Kingston is playing for 1st to 4th.
There are three weeks of meaningful games to play and new trends to develop. At this time, I think every team would prefer Brampton in round two.
Sudbury has beaten Brampton three times in its’ five meetings, Niagara is 3-1-1 vs Brampton. Barrie, Brantford, & Kingston all have winning records vs Brampton.
Oshawa has a losing record to Brampton & Niagara, and have not yet faced Sudbury.

Brantford has 8 games left, 4 of which are against London, Saginaw, Brampton, and Kingston.

5 of the 8 on the road. I think this thing is FAR from wrapped up.

Weird schedule with 3 Sudbury games left - the division/conference could come down to these Sudbury games because it’s not out of the question that Oshawa wins the other 5 games - fair expectation 13-14 points.

Assuming there’s no upsets against the bottom 3 in the East, the conference will probably come down to how Brantford/Kingston handle the Western conference games, their head to head, and Oshawa’s Sudbury trifecta plays out - right now I'd have to give the edge to Brantford for the conference but so much can change so quickly.

I personally think Barrie, Oshawa and Kingston are all better then Brantford and win against them in a playoff series.
I think we see the East finish like this as Barrie and Oshawa look like they have easiest schedule.

Brantford has a 3 pt lead over 3 teams with two of those having a game in hand, and still 8-9 games to play. Brantford can definitely be caught.
Though Brampton has played better, I still doubt there is a match up they could win.

LOL I think that whoever finishes first will get a 4 and done series against either Ottawa or NB

The other three series are going to be interesting, and all could go to 7 games with upsets in them. A great deal of the playoffs is going to be how healthy your team is going into the playoffs

For instance, if you have Burns and Pienemi playing 30 minutes every game, they will be tired by playoffs. It may not show in the first round, but again, it will show as the playoffs progress. That is the same foe for every team.

Goaltending will be big and how well they play and take the heat.


This weekend is going to give us a good idea of where the teams will be. Kingston has to stay with Oshawa at least; if they drop all three games or win 2 out of 3, it will make a difference. You could not schedule this road trip at a worse time.

Did McGowan fully heal from the last injury? It's better to keep him out at this stage than push him or anyone else who has an ache that could haunt. I know I am in the minority, but I would rather go into the playoffs in fourth, which is all but guaranteed with a healthy squad, than be in first with injured, tired players. non remember where you were at the end of the season, only how far you got in the playoffs,

Brantford has an equally tough weekend @LDN, @Flint, and @SAG. A full Flint roster is probably every bit as good as Brampton, Sudbury, and Niagara.

This week and the following two are about as meaningful as the previous 20 imo. No key losses to injury and in some cases returns are most important. It’s really just about playing for home-ice and favourable matchups at this point.
I think Kingston should want to avoid Barrie and Oshawa for two rounds if possible

That's kind of a ridiculous take without any details being shared at this point. Nothing in that article says anything about when it was reported. For all anyone knows the victim may have just spoke about it for the first time this week. It very likely could be news to the staff members from that year as well. Do us a favour and keep all of your takes over on the Ottawa thread. You are constantly commenting on the Fronts and it's obvious you rarely watch their games.

Has absolutely nothing to do with either GM I'd stop this nonsense.
It's a shame how people are always out to share the blame for a few waste of skin idiots on people that have worked hard to build a good reputation in the game.
