Kingston Frontenacs 2024-25 Season Thread, Part II

Thanks for clarification. Got my players messed up lol.

Good for Willis then. Any idea if Soto has a concussion now (again)
I haven’t heard but Soto at the rate he’s going is turning into a Poole and Roger type situation where he comes back for a game or 2 and is concussed immediately.
Kid can’t catch a break.

Had to give it a day after that horrible 3rd vs Barrie. Good news is we stuck around and out played them. Bad news is we shit the bed in the third. If Schenkel plays that game instead of vaccari I wonder if we win.

Great for Willis to stick up for Soto but hopefully he is okay as I believe he was coming off a concussion? And then drops gloves. Didn’t seem like he any shots to the head so hopefully kid is fine and concussion isn’t back.
It was really just 3 minutes of the 3rd

Looking back over the schedule Kingston's through 3 of the 4 week tough stretch, starting back with the Kitchener, going 5-2-0-1 is pretty good and should be a massive boost of confidence heading into this final tough weekend. After these three games (say what you will about Niagara but they just beat London) they have what should be a couple easier games with two against Peterborough and two against Ottawa before wrapping up with Brantford and Brampton.

From what I can see the SAC year finishes up next weekend so I wonder if Dervin gets some games before the end of the year/slots in for the playoffs.

I don't really see much purpose keeping Uens as a OA.
Probably the weakest 19 year old on the team right now along with Vaccari in my opinion.

I think this would be my order for an OA commitment if it was my call:
Willis
Mcgowan
Hay
Bishop (Only if McGowan isn't staying)
Miedema
Pickell (I would not be shocked to see him back in a leadership role)
Soto
Vaccari -It's not viable wasting an OA spot on a backup goalie. -Give Betts the net.
Uens

Not even going to bother including Burns, Pinner or Uronen as they are all gone.

*Updated list with Willis signing today*
Doubt he returns next year now.
