that would mean gravel would play more than 10 minutes

can't have a rookie playing any meaningful minutes now..
 
Love these announcers. "He wasn't actually holding him.. He was just pushing him aside." I didn't know you pushed people aside by laying your arm across their stomach and pulling back.

Even if we didnt make the playoffs and we still fired him earlier, at least the new coach would have gave the kids more chances. For all the crap we get about not having A+ prospects, there are some who look pretty damn good. Sutter is a great coach when he has a championship roster. He isn't a coach who develops youngsters in the right way. Just my opinion though.

NHL coaches aren't paid to develop players. Nonetheless, I don't necessarily disagree with you. I thought the end of last year was criminal with Sutter playing Scuderi.
 
I'll never understand the "Sutter hates rookies" meme that permeates on this board despite all evidence to the contrary.
