Even though he isn't showing much offense, Byfield covers a hell of a lot of territory in a short period of time.
 
If Fiala does stuff like that. I will quickly become fond of him. Teams have been too relaxed smoking our players. They will think twice knowing we have players who do it as well

Not able to watch, but from looking at the lineup, could Vilardi be forcing his way into the lineup, pushing Lemieux to the press box? If the price is Kaliyev back on the fourth line again that's a difficult choice but still it seems like it would make the team better overall.
 
I could in theory watch the game on the ESPN site but it’s blocked from UK broadcast it seems, which is odd because there is NOBODY else broadcasting it here!!

Vilardi should be playing over Lemieux......

Clarke, I am ok with that......he will get 9 games in for sure....

Kings are absolutely loaded with talent. Guys like Byfield Kaliyev Vilardi Kupari Grundstrom Iafallo in the bottom six is pretty nasty matchup wise for other teams.

I don't even hate Kaliyev on the fourth line if he gets a decent amount of power play time and distribute the lines fairly evenly.

Fiala - Kopitar - Kempe
Moore - Danault - Arvidsson
Iafallo - Byfield - Vilardi
Grundstrom - Lizotte - Kaliyev

This is what I'd run.
 
It is frustrating that Vilardi can't get into the starting lineup after the camp he had.

Lemieux goes through stretches where he's great, and stretches where he's useless. I assume Gabe will get swapped in when Lemmy starts playing poorly.

Don't like Walker on the 2nd pairing. Should be Bjornfot. But I realize we're kind of stuck with Walker's contract.
