The only reason i can see him in either LA or San Jose is because he's from Salt Lake City, Utah and they would be closer to home. Other then that neither LA nor San Jose make any sense here.
Well he has 5 left on the listSo how many teams have been eliminated? I thought I read Buffalo, Boston and Minnesota have been eliminated. Any other teams eliminated? I wonder if Bowman is in on this or have the Hawks been eliminated?
Some odd choices to be honest.
Doubt Chicago is in on him, LA, Detroit, San Jose and Dallas are but 4 teams in on Daniel Brickley not sure who the 5th team is but i doubt it's the Hawks. So how many teams have been eliminated? Sharks kind of make sense but mostly don’t. On one hand, we have eight NHL defensemen and I don’t think Brickley supplants any of them except Paul Martin, and Martin is playing well lately next to Burns while Joakim Ryan is out hurt. On the other hand, the Sharks do have a strong history of signing free agents (Carpenter, Karlsson, Heed, Sorensen, Donskoi) and giving them a real opportunity to earn NHL minutes. They also have the reputation that if a player is a bad fit and isn’t getting the minutes they want, Doug Wilson will find them a new home (Nieto, Wingels, Carpenter).
Additionally, the Sharks could very easily make room for him next season. Just trade Brenden Dillon and buy out Martin. The Sharks also have squat in the way of D prospects.
At the end of the day, though, if Brickley is adamant about getting immediate NHL minutes, the Sharks don’t make sense.
oh it is the board of overrating prospects, but he is NHL ready, he will be 24 years old, watched at least 15 games alone this season he played in. Isn't a ****ing doubt he is NHL ready. He is DeKeyser on steroids, and DeKeyser hasn't spent a second in the AHL...Brickley is better than Danny D was at the same stage.
There are ladies everywhere lol. He's going to be making close to a million too, that helps a little as well.3 words: New York Rangers

Kings make some amount of sense. They’ve got four defensemen on the last year of their contract in LaDue, Gravel, Folin, and Fantenberg. Granted, everyone except Folin is an RFA, but the Kings might be an attractive landing spot due to their defensive pedigree. You don’t see many offensive prospects sign here, but defense and especially goaltending love LA.

Gravel will be a Group VI UFA at the end of the season.
Who cares. These signings never turn out.

Haha, UDFA signings? Torey Krug laughs at you.
