Honestly not a bad offer and it's awfully tempting for LA. But even with Doughty-Durzi on the right side I'd still rather wait to move Roy and/or Walker until Clarke and Faber are in the NHL
This ^^^. Kings need Roy for the foreseeable future, so for right now it's no. But maybe hold off for a few years then we'll talk.

Chabot - Zub
Sanderson - Roy
Holden - Hamonic

Would be the best d-core they've had in ages. Really need a solid guy for Sanderson because it he gets stapled to Zaitsev fans are going to burn down the CTC

You have to figure out what you're doing with zaitsev and del zotto and brannstrom...then you also have guys like JBD and Thomson that have to get introduced into the lineup.

You may argue that Roy is better than JBD or Thomson next year but would he still be better than them the following year after we got them NHL seasoning?

Maybe it's more beneficial to us being good in 2 years to get Thomson and JBD as much NHL seasoning as possible instead of burying them.

There's a lot of factors at play.

I wouldn't do it, because I see all the personnel for our D positions in place. They just need to improve.

Whereas our forwards are still loaded with useless guys like tierney and Gambrell and Gaudette. It would be a priority to replace these AHL level forwards with NHL level forwards before we touch our D (who I would argue we have at least 7-9 NHL level D going into next year). So forward depth is much more pressing.
