Confirmed with Link: Kings Recall Pearson-Vey-Toffoli

Based on what we saw last time, I don't think Pearson is ready for this at all, and if he isn't going to play he should stay in Manchester.

Maybe part of this is a move to have some bodies at practice while the Olympians are away?
 
Pearson is not ready , but maybe he will be more comfortable with Vey as his Center.

The Kings just may want more energy in the lineup. The bottom six looks tired and worn out.

When does the trade freeze end ? Feb 24 ?
 
Would rather have seen Weal brought up, Pearson needs another whole season in Manchester.

Weal would add some much needed speed, and skill in the bottom six.

Wow, Sutter's up to his nonsense again. It's no wonder players are shutting him out. I was already tired of his crap last year.

The kids aren't going to get fired up from what Sutter has said. If anything, they'll probably just rolled their eyes. :rolleyes:

If getting a chance to play in the NHL doesn't get them fired up, I'd rather trade them while people think they're worth something.

Yup,

Toffoli's days are over in the AHL, he is the most skilled out of the three.

Vey just needs his confidence to remain high like Muzzin.

Pearson is just not impressive, he has not looked that good at Manchester either over the last month.

What's wrong with what he said? Is the AHL not at a different pace than the NHL?

Well, this is where you and I will have to disagree. You think Sutter saying that they're slow is going to light their fire, and I think that the kids more or less just roll their eyes and keep doing what they're doing. I don't think that kind of comment is going to light anyone's fire.

Much like Terry Murray, Sutter doesn't know how to communicate or motivate his players.
 
Hehe, I knew that comment would get the Sutter bashers all fired up.

He isn't even really calling them out, he is just making an observation.

He was asked how the AHL guys look, he said slow, and gave a reason why.

I doubt the kids are rolling their eye's, they know whats expected of them if the want to play for the Kings at the NHL level.

Doughty said it best about Sutter.

Doughty "He annoys you with Criticism, but it's 100% right most of the time".
