Kings prospect #2

I will not be using HF's standards for prospects, rather I'll count players as prospects who haven't played a full year in the NHL and appear to not be a slam dunk for a roster spot next year.

Tie between Lintuniemi and Shore. Chose Lintuniemi because it's a cooler name and nonconformist.
 
I didn't realize Shore was part of the poll.

1. Shore
2. Zykov
3. Kempe

At least, that's what it should be.

People just feel differently about prospects, no biggie.

For example, Shore is a guaranteed NHLer to me, but I still don't think he has top-6 upside compared to Zykov and Kempe. Hell, I personally even think Weal is the better prospect due to upside.
 
Took Zykov because I think he has better upside than Shore still. Shore is a really easy #3 though then it'll get interesting. You can make a real argument for Weal, Cernak, Mersch, Forbort or Bartosak at #4.

Can we do a new one "every other day" (as opposed to every day?). That way, we'll be debating these guys until September. If we do it everyday, then we'll be done by mid-August and they're be nothing between then and training camp..... I'm just sayin'......

I don't consider Shore a prospect either. He stayed with the Kings since he was called up in January. Does anyone here think he won't be playing for the Kings in the fall? He's graduated. He's a King now.

In all likelihood with my busy schedule we'll miss a few days here and there anyway.

What is Shore's NHL upside? I can't see him being better than Manny Malhotra. 10+ goals 30 points. His strength is his two-way play and at the dot.

Give me Forbort. Yes he's been on a slow boil but he still has 2nd pairing upside. I take a legit 2nd pairing d-man over a 3rd/4th line Center every day of the week.
