Lost the game and Doughty but won the Corsi. Moral victory!

Nah but really, hope Doughty is okay. The Sharks don't scare me in the playoffs after tonight, playing on a back to back with Doughty injured for 55 of the 60 minutes and we still played extremely well.

But they didn't have Hertl or Torres! Hertl is going to be rusty when he returns and Torres...lol ok.

Greene makes me nervous. Martinez, Muzzin, Slava, Mitchell and Regehr playing great. Not so sure I want Greene in the mix, but that looks like what it will be if Doughty misses significant time.

Thats one way to look at it.

Of course the stankfish had their entire roster playing their hardest and we were playing our back up goalie and without Doughty and Mitchell and still held them to 20 shots on goal.

I mean before the start of the game I was wondering why we had DD AK MG or JC in the line up at all.

So the Sharks haven't proven anything to us at all.

You are a quality poster but with all due respect, this is horse pxxp.

The Kings didn't threaten one bit in the third and the Sharks hardly had to break a sweat. We held them to 20 shots because they didn't need to force their will further. A random shot here or there but really, cruise control for the Sharks.

They proved that they are more than ready. We proved that we crapped the bed whe it was manning-up hour.

40K posts in 8 years. 5,000 posts per year. That's 13 posts a day or like a liitle more than 1 post every other hour!

I thought the first line had plenty of good shifts, and most nights Gabby is going to bury both those chances. Kopitar was dominant on the boards yet again.

I thought the defense stepped up and played really well without Doughty, Regehr in particular had a strong game. Martinez and Voynov are going to have to play a lot more tougher minutes.

Tomorrows medical news is going to be the biggest day of the season for the Kings. I don't know if we can beat the Sharks without Doughty. Especially with the way Drew plays in the playoffs.

I just can't get over how bad Brown and Richards have gotten in just two years, it's amazing to see players go from where they were to where they are now. Especially with Thornton and Marleau seemingly defining father time.

Third game in four nights, Back to back......That's the best the Sharks can do ?

Sharks had two days rest.....They looked like crap.

Still got pushed around by Kopitar's line. Thorton was a complete no show(again like always).

To be fair, they're still missing Hertl the Wonder Turtle.

Gaborik had 2-3 Grade A chances to pot a goal...

And Torres.

This was one of those games that feels like a win-win. We won but you guys played well considering back-to-back, backup goalie and no Doughty.

It'll be a fun playoff series.

BTW, we had 1 day of rest, not 2.

I think the Sharks won without much effort. Is that the worst they can do?

But really, yes I understand your point. I like to see them as excuses though. The "3 in 4 nights" and "back-to-back" can't seriously be seen as an explanation for a team that claims and aims to win any game they are in.

Bottom line, the Sharks played like crap and won easily in my opinion. Kings also played like crap but lost easily.

The third felt like an instruction book on how the Kings (excluding the last month) close out games. I don't want to meet that kind of team in the playoffs. Especially without the playmaker.

Bingo!

B-I-N-G-O

Speaking of...anyone seen Dingo/Cesar Milan lately?

Too be complete honest, since the Sharks had two days rest.

I expected a 5-1 or 4-2 game Sharks win, the Sharks players can't be happy they barely got a win tonight.

Gaborik missed a whole bunch of chances. I thought he was a bit tentative and rushed his decision making early in the game. Probably was shocked at the physicality and intensity of a Sharks-Kings game. Once he figured he was gonna have to play heavier and take hits the entire game he finally settled down and played better.

Without much effort? We carried the majority of the play and even Marleau was throwing hits like crazy out there. The Sharks are invested; they still have seeding to play four.

Third game in four nights against hungry rival opponents with our backup goalie (who did let in a crap goal) and without King, Mitchell, or (mostly) our #1 defenseman and the sharks eeked out a win on home ice. You'll have to forgive us for not thinking the sky is falling.

Don't get me wrong, I think the Sharks are better than what they showed tonight and most of us would rather face them later--but I'm really baffled by you entering panic mode.

Fatigue is real.....people need to acknowledge it...It is an excuse , cause Hockey players are human beings not robots.

Three games in Four nights is a lot of hockey, that is going to make you tired.

The Sharks had two days rest, and played like garbage if you ask me.
