This.Very interesting getting to know Berube system.
Keefe wants the players to circle back, hold onto the puck, take their time and make a smart play. Berube wants the puck to be chipped forwards at all times until they end up along the boards and then wants us to win the battles.
Defensively, Leafs are much more commited to protecting the inner slot and keeping chances outside. Keefe's system allowed some of those chances in exchange for less shots against. Berube asks the players to block the extra shots.
Seriously every time the players get the puck, they just keep flicking it forward. Incredible.
