Matthews line


Let Matthews figure out wtf is wrong with his game with easier match ups. If he gets tough match ups then JT-Marner or Nylander line can score

Keefe really pisses me off the way he coaches

Outside of Spezza, this bottom-6 is a barren wasteland. Kerfoot/Bunting look somewhat out of place on the top 2 lines as well.

When the big guns are firing, we win, and no one notices our depth.

When the big guns aren't firing, our depth forwards don't offer anything. It's the team's biggest issue, and one that Dubas will need to address moving forward as priority 1A.

You realize by doing this all you are doing is taking away any help that Matthews would have to get out of this funk right? They aren't going to match against Nylander. They will match against JT and Matthews. Playing Matthews with Kase and Engvall isn't the answer.
 
If Engvall isn't shooting and missing the damn net on the PP, he's making bonehead passes when he should be shooting - guy is so frustrating to watch out there and can't believe he's still on PP2.

Come on Sheldon, give Kase a shot on PP2 - anyone who watched him while he was with the Ducks knows he has offensive talent we're not utilizing.

Agreed that Kerfoot and Ritchie HAVE to go. Even Engvall, way too inconsistent.

I've seen enough. We don't have time to waste yet another year.

Our depth/supporting cast is pathetic offensively.

so putting Nylander in a funk while also not having a shot to win a game is the answer?
 
Ritchie + Kerfoot + Holl

Clear all that salary and try to find some legit depth scoring. What we have now is not going to cut it.

Ritchie has been brutal, but can we look at the top 4 forwards? Tavares has been good but the other 3 have been nearly invisible. They've had a few decent chances but I'd expect a lot more, a lot more, from $11 million a year players against a pretty weak team. Trevor Moore shouldn't be looking better than Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner.

Agreed because you’re going nowhere without it in the playoffs.
