He’s still gets goals but where’s the moxy?
yup can't just look at the stat sheet. there's been stretches where marner isn't doing that great but still racking up the points. ditto for matthews.

the good ole toe punt wind upI've always wondered what the NHL definition of a kick is?
yeah, that's what I think as well. If the initial kick went in, it would have been called off. That's odd, because there was clearly a distinct kicking motion. I had assumed the fact that Campbell stopped that first kick negated it from being and illegal goal?

They pretty much have. If it's not a huge back-swing, they count it.If thats not a kick might as well abolish the rule
There was one earlier this season against Ottawa(I think) that was an absolute joke. They've changed the rule. You can go nuts kicking the puck now. The rule was pretty clear before but now it's the wild west. I don't get it personally. There was nothing wrong with the rule before, not having blades swinging around makes sense. NHL: hold my beer. What the f*** is kicking then? So im guessing they are going to call it a sweep? Its called a sweep-kick.
Tough to go from Tbay and Boston to this though. This seems like a letdown performance after the rowdy crowd and spirited battle against the Bruins.
