I liked Evans his first year or two, but after his injuries he brings nothing to the team except faceoff wins. No offense, average defense, NO physicality. We need to upgrade there for sure.

But we're not there. UFAs would help make the playoffs, not get farther. No way 1 or 2 UFAs bring this team to consistently contend for the cup.

We need high draft picks for a few years. And good drafting.
